С трансляции на The Race:
Sebastian Vettel has been asked for his thoughts on whether the Russian GP should go ahead in light of the current political situation.
"I woke up to this morning's news shocked," he said. "It's horrible to see what is happening. If you look at the calendar we have a race scheduled in Russia.
"For myself, my own opinion is I should not go, I will not go. It's wrong to race in the country. I'm sorry for the people, innocent people who are losing their lives, getting killed for stupid reasons.
"A very strange and mad leadership. It's something we will talk about but the GPDA hasn't come together yet. Personally I'm just so shocked and sad what's going on. We will see going forward. I think my decision is already made."

The drivers joining Vettel in the conference have also been asked whether they think the race should go ahead.
Leclerc: "I don't know all the information, it's very sad to see that especially in 2022. We'll take a decision. I think F1 will probably take the decision. I can't express myself more than that."
Verstappen: "When a country is at war it's not correct to race there. It's not only what I think, it's how the whole paddock decides what we're going to do next."
Alonso: "It's going to be a Formula 1 decision eventually. I think we have our opinion and it's the same one as everyone. But we don't have the power to decide. We can make our own decisions for sure. But eventually I think F1 will do the best [thing]."
