SÃO PAULO - Depois da perda da liderança no mês passado nas 24 Horas de Le Mans, onde o Ligier JS P2-Nissan enfrentou problemas de motor, o trio formado pelo brasileiro Bruno Senna, o português Filipe Albuquerque e o mexicano Ricardo Gonzalez tem um duro desafio neste domingo nas 6 Horas de Nurburgring, quarta etapa do Campeonato Mundial de Endurance: evitar que os rivais que correm com o Oreca 05-Nissan desgarrem de vez na classificação de pilotos da categoria LMP2. Embora consciente do tamanho da empreitada, Bruno saiu das duas sessões de treinos livres desta sexta-feira no tradicional circuito alemão com as esperanças renovadas. "Parece que aqui a diferença para eles diminuiu um pouco", avaliou.
Os primeiros ensaios foram dominados pelo Oreca 05-Nissan da G-Drive Racing, dividido pelo alemão René Rast, o russo Roman Rusinov e o inglês Alex Brundle, segundo colocados no campeonato com 64 pontos contra 87 dos ponteiros, o americano Gustavo Menezes, o francês Nicolas Lapierre e o monegasco Stéphane Richelmi.
